Program Manager
The Capital Area Humane Society is seeking a part-time Program Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing all shelter programming including volunteers, community outreach, education and pet behavior. A Bachelor’s degree and experience in programming is required. Strong communication skills, a desire to work with children, a strong understanding of animal behavior, and a positive attitude are also required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Oversee the delivery of all education programs
* Oversee the delivery of external programs
* Oversee the deliver of all community outreach programs
* Oversee and deliver Volunteer Program
* Supervise Humane Educator and Program Coordinator
* Preform administrative duties for all shelter programs
* Prepare and maintain programming budgets
* Work directly with the Shelter Manager in developing enrichment programs and identifying behavior concerns
* Perform other duties as requested by the Vice President of Operations
